A&M install fire barriers, supplied by Rockwool, designed to prevent fire and smoke spreading within roof and ceiling voids. They also improve sound reduction by up to 50dB when used in conjunction with suspended or plasterboard ceilings.

Vertically hung fire barriers can achieve integrity and insulation protection periods from 15–120 minutes and friction-fitted fire barriers can provide 60 minutes integrity and insulation. It is this insulation performance which limits the heat transfer through to adjacent places which may house combustible materials.

The products we use ensure an easy fixing process with, in most cases, no need for nuts and bolts or fasteners and angles.
