A&M has been awarded a place on the Birmingham Buy For Good (BfG) framework agreement.

Buy for Good is a social enterprise purchasing consortium, enabling Birmingham City Council and other partners to purchase and run major contracts through a vehicle specifically designed to achieve maximum social and community benefit from such procurement.

A&M Energy Solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Hayley Bruce, Business Development Manager for the North West. Hayley brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience of the energy market. A&M Energy Solutions is pleased to announce our charity partner for 2013 as Cancer Research UK, as voted for by staff.

Cancer Research UK pioneers life-saving research to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.  They do not receive government funding for their research, so every step they make towards beating cancer relies on every pound donated.

Louise Ashton, Group Marketing Manager added “Cancer Research is a charity close to so many people’s hearts.  We are busy organising fun events which will hopefully raise lots of money for the charity.  It also gives staff an opportunity to get involved in volunteering opportunities.  We hope people will support us along the way!’

Continuing our committment to become PAS 2030 certified for all Green Deal core measures, A&M’s Rainford branch has become PAS2030 certified to carry out External Wall Insulation.

Tony Masters, Commercial Manager for solid wall insulation commented, “Achieving the PAS 2030 standard for external wall insulation (EWI) is a significant step forward for A&M. Continuing to develop our strong relationship with Warm Wales and Vale of Glamorgan, A&M Energy Solutions is working in partnership with J Street heating and Jarvis Harman to provide energy saving solutions to the residents of Barry.  Work commenced on site in November and is due to continue in to the New Year.  Energy Saving Measures to be installed are external wall insulation, internal wall insulation, boiler replacements and central heating works.
